“Light, glass, and rock””n””roll.”
DESIGNER
As a material, glass has been of interest to me since the very beginnings of my studies and my professional career. When designing, I particularly like to revive the almost forgotten, less frequently used glass-making techniques. I try to use these in an original and innovative way to produce light features and lighting installations.
Projects I am proud of:
- Design concept and realization of the light feature ””Flacons”” for the 2015 Euroluce exhibition
- Papier-mâché rat on a wire structure – a 3×1 metre installation on a rock face at the Sloup Castle, Czech Republica
- Design concept and realization of the light feature ””Lovejoy Comet”” for the 2012 Light+Building exhibition
- Design concepts and realizations of light features for private residences in Qatar and Saudi Arabia
- Installation on a rock face at Sloup Castle, Czech Republic, 3×1 metre, papier-mâché rat on a wire structure
- Exhibition at Lipý Castle in Česká Lípa, Czech Republic, stained glass and a light feature
