W Dubai – The Palm
A series of specially created installations for the W Hotel Resort located in Dubai’s iconic Palm destination.
In cooperation with DWP, a world-renowned architecture and design company, our designers produced six lighting installations for this luxury hotel including pieces for the atrium, W lounge, meeting room, and the breathtaking Away spa.
We created a series of glass pyramids in different sizes, each finished with a metal nanocoating, for the bar area in the atrium. The pyramids are created from processed making the installation unique and environmentally friendly.
For the lavish Away spa we created a Big Drop to welcome visitors for their relaxation. This impressive dynamic glass light sculpture is formed in the shape of a giant drop of water and contains more than a thousand little lamps. It can emit light according to 99 programs and colour combinations.
