W Suzhou Hotel, China, represents a modern take on the local architectural heritage inspired by the region’s deep connection to nature. We created a unique piece to flow through the hotel’s “Living Room” lobby as an artistic centrepiece to delight visitors to the hotel.
The “Living Room” lobby is a place to unwind and socialize and we wanted to design a unique piece to crown this space. Our futuristic wall decoration “brooch” was created by combining traditional hand-blown glass with the technology of state-of-the-art 2D CNC machines.

The installation is formed of sleek pyramids are finished with nanocoating to produce beautiful metallic shades, combining technological and decorative processes. The translucent plated layers give this lighting installation a different look depending on whether the light is on or off.
