At the Fairmont Tokyo, timeless elegance meets contemporary artistry in a project inspired by the spirit of the sea and the dynamic energy of Shibaura’s waterfront.
In the Grand Ballroom, our striking pendants draw inspiration from the sea, transforming the space into a radiant seascape of light. Crafted from glass rods finished with aurum nanocoating and polished metal, these sculptural pieces shimmer like reflections on the ocean’s surface, elevating every event.
On the 35th floor, within the Kiln & Tonic restaurant, our bespoke chandeliers composed of handblown light amber glass and refined metal elements create a warm, soft ambience that enhances the inviting atmosphere of this Mediterranean brasserie.
The hotel’s design, created by BAR Studio (Australia) and shaped by the vibrant bay district of Shibaura, embraces the essence of water – from ocean spray to gentle foam – captured through fluid forms and luminous materials. This remarkable project was brought to life in close collaboration with Worktecht Lighting Design, blending expert craftsmanship with visionary design.
